Das Wetter (Conti-Style Consolidation)

This worksheet is based on the weather vocabulary in Zoom 1 Deutsch (OUP, 2011) and is aimed at students who have just been introduced to the topic. It could work well as a homework task or provide an opportunity for consolidation in a lesson. It might also be useful backup for setting cover work or revision at KS4! This resource was inspired by similar worksheets created by Gianfranco Conti. Image credit: The blank compass on this worksheet is from Shutterstock via Google Images. Hope it’s useful and feedback always welcome!

At the risk of reinventing the wheel, here’s my take on a concise worksheet to introduce and practise the verb sein to KS3 beginners. Some knowledge of family members vocabulary is assumed; other TL is provided in brackets to allow for greater focus on the grammar! Introduction to the full paradigm (with bonus Hamlet reference!) Exercises to practise: switching between nouns and pronouns gap fill and translation into English full sentence translation into German Image credit: VectorStock via Google Images Viel Spaß! :-)

A simple grammar worksheet to introduce and practise prepositions with the dative case in the context of describing a bedroom. Designed for use with the ‘Mein Zimmer’ spread in Zoom 1 Deutsch (OUP, 2011). As well as furniture vocabulary, students will need das Fenster and die Ecke. The resource contains 2 A5 copies to a page for efficient printing. Answers are also provided. Viel Spaß!
