I have created this booklet for the topic of Holidays and Travel. It is mostly for KS4. It is a very comprehensive booklet as it gives you the possibility to work on a multitude of skills (reading/listening/speaking/writing) I usually put my pupils in groups of 3 or 4 and give them an envelop with their travel money. It is a very good exercise for them to work on their group work, problem solving skill, it is authentic vocabulary and great for culture and I have tried to keep the prices realistic too. All my year 10s love this activity, I usually put the sound of the waves in the background as well and you can find some nice video on YouTube of the Basque Country so pupils can have an idea of what it looks like. P.S: that can easily be a double lesson for you to do some marking while they are busy preparing their trip ;) jess.

The short movie is in Spanish with English subtitles, so this resource can be used both for French, English or Spanish lesson. I created it to work on the future tense and predictions for my French classes. If you think of any improvements please do not hesitate to let me know.

I have used the resources from Ministére des affaires étrangères to create this worksheet. The short movie is all about tolerance and integration. It is provocative! I have decided to only focus on the cultural side of this short movie and not on the grammar or language. I have created this worksheet around the short animated movie One Day. It has English subtitles. I created my lesson around 'describing scenes' in order to get my KS3 ready for GCSE Speaking exam, the Cards section, where the first question is always about describing what the picture represents. This movie is action packed for such a short time (1m15). I have decided to work on it with a comprehension questionnaire and deliberately used negative and qui/que structures in my questions. I have also developed some grammar exercises to go with those points.
