A word document on the topic of my ideal home designed for KS4. This has been designed for students to complete in the current lockdown.
It incorporates revision of the future tense (le futur simple) and introduction to the conditional tense (le conditionnel).
Aim is for students to be able to say where they would like to live in the future and why using the conditional tense.
Perfect for years 10 and 9.
A home-made grammar booklet designed to practice key grammatical skills needed for GCSE French. Designed for the AQA syllabus but could be used with others if necessary.
Inspiration taken from ‘Studio AQA GCSE French Grammar and Translation Workbook’ and ‘Mot à Mot’ book.
Useful for years 10/11 and could be adapted to use for AS / A2 level French.
A lesson powerpoint and booklet to accompany the German film ‘Latte Igel und der magischen Wasserstein’.
The lesson and booklet can take up to 3/4 lessons of 1 hour to complete.
Suitable for all year groups, especially KS3.
Booklet contains lots of activities to do with the film including reading tasks, translation tasks, a writing task and sentence building.
Lesson recapping places in town and introducing modes of transport. Includes paired speaking tasks, listening tasks, writing task + writing model. Translation tasks can also be worked into this on mini-whiteboards.
A lesson based around the topic of describing jobs + what other people do. Includes reading tasks, speaking tasks and writing frame. Reading task could be translated into English as an extension task.
A short lesson in Italian discussing age + numbers. This lesson will be focused on lots of speaking activities, recapping numbers and introducing asking people their age.
Lesson in German based on the topic of school and what you eat/drink at break times. Includes listening, reading, translation, speaking and writing tasks.
A lesson covering the topic of explaining where people live in French. Includes an introduction to ‘depuis’. Listening, reading, speaking, translation and writing tasks included. Group work with a running dictation is also included.
Lesson in German covering the topic of school subjects. Starter recaps colours, then moves onto describing school subjects, opinions and reasons why you like/don’t like them. Includes listening, reading, speaking and translation activities.
