<p>French GCSE booklet: dictation, reading aloud and translation. 3 in 1.<br /> These booklets focus on all new AQA and EDEXCEL GCSE topics. Each topic has a QR code (and a Utube link as a back-up) for listening to the sentences (read 3 times, the 2nd time is broken down). Each booklet with audio mentions how to slow down the pace using Utube (independent learning).<br /> There are 3 levels: foundation, intermediate and higher. These booklets are around 20 pages and each topic contains around 40 sentences.<br /> These booklets can be used as a reading aloud activity with students checking their pronunciation by listening to the audio. They can work independently at home or in the school environment.<br /> There are several options: teachers and students’ booklets with or without audios, students’ booklets with translation only.</p> <p><strong>Topics covered:</strong></p> <p>Theme 1: People and lifestyle<br /> Topic 1: Identity and relationships with others<br /> Topic 2: Healthy living and lifestyle <br /> Topic 3: Education and work</p> <p>Theme 2: Popular culture<br /> Topic 1: Free-time activities <br /> Topic 2: Customs, festivals and celebrations<br /> Topic 3: Celebrity culture</p> <p>Theme 3: Communication and the world around us<br /> Topic 1: Travel and tourism, including places of interest<br /> Topic 2: Media and technology<br /> Topic 3: The environment and where people live</p> <p>Please do note that the reading aloud is not presented with small paragraphs as per the exam (sentences) and that sentences in the dictation at intermediate and higher levels may be a bit more challenging than the exam. However, students will also, with that tool, practise their writing, listening and reading skills with key sentences on all topics.</p>

Listening, reading, translation and speaking activities (topic card with guidance) are provided with correction and audio file. The format is based on exam tasks. Word document and PDF versions. AQA/EDUQAS boards but would suit others. Subtopic of Discrimination and Diversity. Two differentiated versions: challenge and support. As per the exam, in the Challenge version, the audio file does not follow exactly the text related to the fill the gap activity. In the Support version, the audio file is the exact transcript.</p>
