Secret Student Display

Secret Student is a great behaviour management strategy!

This resource gives you a poster to display in your classroom. Laminate the A4 paper so you are able to write with a white board marker the secret student’s name for the week. This name can then be covered by the other piece of paper.

I also have a small blackboard that sits on my desk to indicate what i am looking for from the secret student that week. It can things such as “showing the school values”, “participating in class discussions”, “always having a tidy desk” etc. This can also be tailored to something you feel a particular pupil needs to work on.

McDonald’s Inspired VCOP Display!
Great enticing resource particularly for upper school. This includes the display banner, speech bubble and labels for the fries boxes.

I went to McDonald’s and asked for 4 large fries boxes and they had no problem giving me them. I bought lollipop sticks from hobbycraft and wrote examples of VCOP on them for each of the boxes.

Noise Level Posters

These posters indicate to the pupils the noise level of the classroom and are a great visual aid.

I purchased LED push lights from amazon that stick directly on to the posters. I have also seen these lights available to purchase in supermarkets or places like b&m and they’re not reasonably cheap. All you need to do is turn on the light that indicates how loud the class should be.

A biscuit and a blether!

Use this in your classroom to promote a safe and nurturing environment. Children can request a biscuit and a belther from you if they have any worries or issues they need to speak about. Great tool for children who don’t feel confident enough to ask you for help directly.
