<p>This “welcome to geography bundle” provides everything you need for an engaging and interactive lesson. The bundle includes:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A quiz which can be used both as an assessment of locational geography and could also be used as an “ice-breaker” team-based competition.</p> </li> <li> <p>An interactive “ice-breaker” worksheet which gets students to engage with others in the class in order to ask 12 geography related questions to as many of their peers as possible.</p> </li> <li> <p>A “jam-jar” geography worksheet which is an excellent homework task. Using a jam jar, students collect items from their local area (minimum of 6) that say something about where a student lives. This can be followed up next lesson by asking other students to guess where they live. Again, this could be made into a competition.</p> </li> </ul> <p>These resources work extremely well with Year 7, but also work just as well with other KS3 students.</p>
