<p>This unit of work was designed to introduce KS3 students to the human aspects of geography. We noticed that most students seemed to think geography was all about the physical landscape and so it made sense to introduce this Human unit to our year 7 students to help with their understanding and they seemed to really enjoy this unit inparticular.</p>

<p>This is a KS3 unit of work designed to introduce students to the concept of Water around the world and the issues that come with having access to it, recycling it, using it and where it comes from.</p>

<p>This is scheme of work that was designed to enhance the current curriculum within out school. It covers most aspects of glaciation, including; corries, aretes, hanging valleys, trunciated spurs, human activity, drumlins and moraine. The lessons are currently taught in a school with 60minute lessons, most lessons can be made to fit this time length but they can be shortened as needed for specific groups and some take longer to work through based on their content.</p>

<p>This booklet backs up the lessons for the KS3 Water unit of work. It provides students with an overview of the lessons they will be taught and includes questions they should be able to answer at the end of the unit of work.</p>

<p>L3 in our school in Rivers, but a good lessons showing how rivers change shape in their journey from source and mouth. Could be used in KS2 or 3 or for a weaker group or as a recap in KS4 also.</p>

<p>This knowledge booklet is used alongside the unit of work for KS3 Glaciation to provide the students with an overview of the lessons they will be doing and practice questions for them to have a go at and ideas of questions in the tests.</p>
