This powerpoint presents an Autumn time poem with symbolised text. It works really well for PMLD learners and each slide can be read alongside props which are easily found in classroom and during Autumn.

This resource is aimed to support teachers assessing learning on the Engagement Model. I have found this super useful this year! I fill it out for each learner after a session and it is really useful to see the progression over time as it breaks the Engagement Model areas down really nicely allowing you to score learners in each area. A powerpoint activity including music, symbols and engaging visuals designed to get learners with PMLD/SEND needs moving! This supports the theme of fireworks. You work your way through each action/activity on each slide using your chosen resources to complete the action. Actions included: warming up twist & spin push and pull relaxation Fully adaptable for wheelchair users.

This resource includes a weekly timetable with specific sensory resources for each day of the week which matches the colour to the inprint symbol. There are 5 different powerpoints (one for each day of the week). Slides are easily customisable to your class and pupils needs. There is reference to Makaton signs, early reading skills to listening to the initial sounds in names. Sensory days include a different song, smell, and texture for each day of the week. The Sensory Timetable is to be used at the beginning of each day to help children to recognise what day it is and the activities that follow on that day. It develops skills in memory, anticipation and early communication. The pupils are encouraged to develop their responses, likes and dislikes, and to begin to make choices as independently as possible. I do not own any of the music or imagery within the slides and am purely sharing this resource to help out and inspire my fellow SEN teachers.
