Key Stage 3 Revision Pictures Blockbuster

Here is a variation of my Pictures Blockbusters template for PowerPoint designed specifically for KS3 pupils. It offers a great way to revise about numbers, time, sports, likes and dislikes, opinions, school subjects, school routine... The concept is simple. 25 boxes are filled with numbers, questions or English words that pupils have to say in French. If the pupils answer correctly you click on the box and it disappears. I used for this template images from France so the pupils can discover a new tourist attraction every time.

Here is a Blockbusters template for PowerPoint, easily adaptable. The concept is simple. You fill the boxes with questions or anything else (in MFL, you can use english sentences to translate) and if the pupils answer correctly you click on the box and it disappears. I used for this template images from around the world so the pupils can discover a new country every time.

Pupils are given a genuine map of the subway lines of Paris. Then, they have to find different places on it (train stations, airports, Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe, Stade de France, Le Louvre, Versailles…). They have clues and have to learn how to read the map. The map can then be used if they go to Paris someday and should be printed on A3 sheets. The PowerPoint presentation features the answers, the clues and some descriptions in French of the places. If some pupils have been there, they can share their experience. The whole activity is 50-minutes long and it worked well with my Y9 bottom set and Y10 pupils. It could be useful for all pupils.
