The poems can be read alone by a child, with parents or carers, or as part of a classroom activity. They might provide some comfort and ideas for the child, and/or start a useful discussion. The bundle represents 7 poems, written the day after a visit to Auschwitz, and a personal commentary on how the poems came about. The poems and commentary can be used in class to reflect on the lessons of Auschwitz and the holocaust, and of course to investigate the power and form of poetry. The commentary might lead to some useful discussion and reflection on the creative process. All proceeds from the sale of this bundle will go in full to the Holocaust Educational Trust.
