<p>A classroom presentation exploring the principles of religious literacy as presented by the Harvard Divinity school <a href="https://rpl.hds.harvard.edu/what-we-do/our-approach/core-principles" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://rpl.hds.harvard.edu/what-we-do/our-approach/core-principles</a> A useful resource to introduce a non devotional approach to the study of World Religions, using the principles of religious literacy as articulated by Dr. Diane L. Moore and adopted by the American Academy of Religion.</p> <p>Presentation includes a video that originally appeared as part of the HarvardX course Religious Literacy: Traditions and Scriptures.</p> <p>Students will watch the video and outline the common misunderstandings people have about religions and explain the correct understanding.</p> <p>Students will then apply their understanding of these principles by considering real world examples.</p>
