**The learning pack aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and supports several key Early Learning Goals (ELGs). **

• Recognising and forming letters links to the ELG of Literacy, which emphasises letter recognition, writing, and early reading skills.
• Developing counting skills supports the Mathematics ELG, helping children understand numbers, counting, and basic numerical concepts.
• Improving listening and focus relates to the Communication and Language ELG, which focuses on listening skills, attention, and understanding.
• Improving fine motor skills supports the Physical Development ELG, fostering hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and control in small movements.
As a teacher, I shared this booklet with EYFS parents ahead of their children joining my reception class in 2021, 2022 and 2023 Many parents found it to be an invaluable resource, helping their children gain confidence and develop essential skills before starting school.
