'Matilda' Scheme of Work

**Scheme of Work based on Matilda by Roald Dahl. **

This is a 5 week scheme of work (although can be extended over 6 weeks - I have included 6 PowerPoints but lesson 4 and 5 can be combined) aimed at Year 7 students. It could work well for Key Stage Two Drama students also.

• Telling the Story through still images
• Characterisation
• The Chokey (Soundscapes and Physical Theatre)
• Revolting Children (from the musical - this one often takes two lessons)
• The Ending of the Story.
