Support the development of close reading skills for high school with this set of analysis questions for the short story titled “The Outsider” by H.P. Lovecraft. An answer key and copy of the public domain narrative are included. With an estimated Lexile Measure of 1100-1200, the narrative is an appropriate addition to a short story or Halloween-themed unit at the high school level.
