This sequence of lessons (roughly three) is part of the economic development section of Theme 4. The lessons focus upon the measuring inequality using the Lorenz Curve and Gini coefficient - diagrammatical analysis is included. The causes of inequality and the impacts are analysed. In addition, the significance of capitalitsm for inequality is analysed.
Essential application is provided through video activities relating to Gabon and Democratic Republic of Congo.
