A slide designed to help students understand a global/topical issue for that week. The slide includes a title, date of the day/week, quote and picture with appropriate questions, videos explaining the topic as found on the internet or youtube and often some discussion questions. This is designed to last 20-25minutes.
This is created as a discussion based tutor time activity but can also be done in students exercise books.
These topics contribute towards whole school cultural capital and SMSC development.
