3.6.1 Setting human resource objectives AQA A-Level Business

• This presentation comes with a worksheet which I would recommend you print on A3 double sided with the mind maps.

• Students are then required to research and fill in the worksheet and create 2 mind maps for internal and external influences on HR objectives. Good for lesson 1

• Lesson 2 starter is quite fun and they simply need to think of words for each letter of the alphabet that links to business

• The second task for lesson 2 is a review of soft/hard HR and students get in to pairs to debate which is better and then get students on their feet to have a bit of a group discussion and conclude which they prefer. A good way to practice AO3 and AO4

• We then go over internal and external influences

*The spec outlines focus on ethical and environmental so I have created group tasks where they can discuss some statements I have made up. A good 10 minute plenary
