50 fun and fabulous Maths starters, range of areas, differentiation built in, no resources required!

This is a fantastic collection of 50 Maths activities that can be used as lesson starters, plenaries or fun one-off activities. Many could be extended as the basis for a full lesson, and most could be revisited as they are or adapted with very little effort to provide new challenges. This means a huge number of your Maths starters throughout the year are already taken care of!
I have been a maths coordinator for several years and have a passion for finding/collecting/inventing easily implemented maths activities that really extend children's understanding.
Challenges include number, length, weight, time, shape and many problem-solving tasks.
Each slide includes notes for the teacher; these may explain the task, provide an answer to more challenging problems, or suggest easy ways to reduce or extend the level of challenge to suit more/less able mathematicians.
With the slides you are good to go; although many of them could be further developed by using resources such as coins, dice etc., they are ready to use as they are with only whiteboards or jotters being needed for the children to write down answers on.
