6 poetry lessons to be taught consecutively over the period of a 6 days (could be longer if needed). The children LOVED this unit as it game them the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild! Over the course of last academic year this unit produced some of the best writing I had. Covers collective nouns, alliteration and puns.
