Bram Stoker’s masterpiece ‘Dracula’ continues to enjoy worldwide popularity in its many different forms and reboots. This gothic horror text shadows a tragic love story, exploring a number of key themes that remain significant to post-modern audiences. I have taught this text a number of times in the last twenty years and I have used this specific resource (revised in 2021) to lead my classroom teaching, as a distance learning material for SKYPE lessons, as a homework assignment and even as a tool of revision – all have worked well for the students.

This dynamically illustrated PowerPoint lesson (23 slides, approximately 2 hours of teaching time) includes: a starter activity, summary and analysis questions, an academic writing task, a theme tracking exercise, an extension task, a homework assignment and a plenary. This is a complete resource with no additional work required from the teacher. Enjoy!
