A Squash and a Squeeze story resource pack

A bumper pack for the story ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’ by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The unit contains worksheets, sequencing activities, games, display materials and crafts.

The pack includes:

Animal photos- a collection of coloured photos of the different animals in the story

Writing sheets- a set of writing sheets with borders for the children to write on and use in the writing area
Speech bubble worksheets- fill in the speech bubbles to show what the characters are saying

Favourite part if the story- draw and write about your favourite part of the story
Writing worksheet- write some sentences about the different pictures on the worksheets
Rhyming words- A worksheet to find rhyming words in the story
Label the animals- A worksheet for each animal for the children to label the different parts of the animal
What happens next- A collection of worksheets for the children to draw and write what happens next in the story

Picture dominoes- a lovely game to make and play

ACTIVITIES
Stick puppets- colour and make your own stick puppets
A new house- draw a larger purpose built house for all the animals to live in with the little old lady
Face masks- colour and decorate the character and animal face masks

Split pin animals- cut out the animal parts and join together using split pins
