Addition using Column Method - with Reasoning Activities per group (Two Lessons)

This resource has been differentiated fours ways (Tasks grouped by colours). The children have to use the column method for addition calculations and then complete a reasoning problem.

Gray band – Use base ten to add three number together (SEN).
Yellow band – Add a two-digit number to a two-digit number (Exchange in the Us).
Orange band – Add a three-digit number to a two digit number (Exchange into Hs & Ts)
Green band – Add a three-digit number to a three-digit number (Exchange into Ths, Hs, Ts & Us)

Each group has 8 questions followed by a reasoning task.
