AFCON | CAN | CAF 2024 - Wordsearch - Flag-Country activity - African Football

This is a great set of activities to get into the spirit of the Africa Cup of Nations 2024.

This bundle contains the following:

• A 24-term wordsearch of the teams taking part in the African football tournament from January 13th - February 11th
• A fun labelling activity where the kids need to match the country name with its flag
• A 4-page document of the descriptions of the flags, explaining the meanings of the colours and symbols. This should be used to help the kids with the flag activity.

You could extend this activity by asking students to design a flag for a current / new (fabricated) country or place, and explain the reasons for colour / symbol choice.

All activities have solutions / answers.
