A whole class game to practice vocabulary and/or spelling.
Aimed at KS2 but could also be used with lower ability KS3 or SEN pupils.
Pupils are divided into 2 teams and have to take turns to write a word on the board following the alphabetical list from A to Z.
The first team to complete the list wins the points.
Words required can be random, related to a particular topic or a phonic pattern, for example.
