These resources are a perfect way to help students, particularly those with SEN needs or low literacy levels, build their understanding of the characters and events of 'An Inspector Calls'
Here are 5 mini work packs to help students decide if the Birlings (and Gerald of course) are guilty (or not guilty) for the death of Eva Smith.
Each character has their own mini pack which contains:
1) A picture sequencing task
2) A text sequencing task linked to the picture sequencing task
3) A written role play task where the student imagines they are the character being grilled in court.
4) A structured paragraph task
5) An extension 'exam style' question
I have also included a printable mat and character cards which are useful to use whilst reading the play. The students can order the characters from least to most moral at various teacher let points in the reading. I have also included a printable writing support sheet to help students complete the structured writing task.
