Analyzing Text / Literature Worksheet - Ages 7-11

This 5 page worksheet will enable your students to create a detailed breakdown of a short story, poem or longer text, including analyzing key literary features, identifying the theme, and establishing their opinion. They will then use the structural breakdown (with detailed examples) to write an Introduction, 3 Main Body Paragraphs and Conclusion.

The students are then able to partner up, swap work, and review their peers. They will write 2 stars (positives) and a wish (area for improvement) to aid their peer in editing their work.
