Ancient Greece/ Greek Myths

These are resources that I have used throughout a whole topic on Ancient Greece.
I started off the topic by looking at the timeline of Ancient Greece and then we looked at the physical features that can be found in Greece, this lead to children completing independent research.

Attached also are all of the resources that I have used during a half term on building up to write a Greek myth. We looked at two Greek myths to understand the structure of them.

The children then thought about how the character's would have felt and then we looked at the different settings and what would have happened if the settings had been different.

The children then moved onto starting to look at writing their own myths, they looked at possible characters and settings and built up to writing their own Greek myths.
