2nd lesson in the 12 lesson unit - How did Rome shape the Ancient World?

This lesson introduces students to Romulus legendary achievements. It includes the Sabine women, his political and religious initiatives and asks students to consider the significance of obituaries as evidence.

Each powerpoint highlights misconceptions and includes teacher notes to assist delivery or point towards further reading.

This lesson supports the work booklet.

It provides an excellent introduction in KS3 for centres who offer GCSE Ancient History or those that are considering offering GCSE Ancient History.

It is best used when supported by the work booklet that has been created - it is also significantly cheaper to buy the bundle.
