This PowerPoint is like a virtual tour of the highlights of Ancient Rome still standing in Rome (and a little in Pompeii). It is a great start, and I am sure you could use it to develop an instant display. You can then encourage children to add additional photos of famous Rome locations. If you use it as a PowerPoint, it can be used as a great talking stimulus.

I have also added a PowerPoint about 31 different teaching activities you could use in your classroom, based on these teaching resources.

You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different locations being shown in each of the photos about Ancient Rome.
You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about Ancient Rome.
The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different Ancient Rome locations. The students can then discuss what they see in each of the photos and images.
The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.
