This lesson involves using angry birds as a context to develop understanding of projectile motion and the affect of gravity on objects.

The lesson is in 3 parts:

Part one is notes and questions to test student understanding of projectile motion including breaking down the horizontal and vertical components of this motion.

Part two then introduces the concept of gravity acting on an object and how mass and distance from objects changes the force of gravity.

Part three is an activity where students apply their knowledge of projectile motion to design a new angry bird.
