Lesson 2 - The Structure Of The Skeleton
Resources have been updated to match specification updates September 2018 version 1.2.
Resources include lesson powerpoint, the powerpoint goes through the theory and also includes tasks for pupils to complete to consolidate learning. Tasks are interactive and get pupils learning the bones and recalling them in a hands on way. Separate tasks are also attached to go with the lesson, including answers for the tasks as well. Tasks inside the powerpoint with also have slides containing answers.
Separate tasks include: A dice recap game - watch and wait for the competitiveness to begin, unlabelled skeleton diagram, make a skeleton using split pins worksheet and labelling sporting injuries task.
Powerpoint also includes hinge questions to check pupils understanding and exam questions with answers based on this aspect of the topic to allow pupils to apply their knowledge.
