This is intended to provide a ‘safety net’ for all students but particularly those who may be struggling and just want to be clear on what the main learning actually involves. It is assumed that these activities are ‘cemented’ by other activities, especially useful diverges to enhance interest and learning. I have attempted to find inspiring examples of pollution with the intention that students begin to engage with the feelings of how crucial the issue is to their future lives and the lives of others. There are extension tasks that could also work as homework task to ensure content is covered if there isn’t time for a separate lesson.
