AQA English Language Paper 2, Section A GCSE Exam Practise

Aimed primarily at year 11 students, this resource contains four Section A style papers for students to use in order to develop their skills and support their revision. These full Section A style papers have been included in both a pdf format for ease of printing as well as a word document in case you choose to alter or adapt the questions to best suit the requirements of you class.

Alongside this, there is also a supporting PowerPoint which focuses on both questions 2 and 4 from each of the Section A style papers as these are the questions most students struggle to access and/or produce an appropriately developed response for. There is a model answer for each lesson to support students in their understanding of how to correctly respond and the lesson is well scaffolded and differentiated.

The papers cover four topics: slavery, capital punishment, young offenders and feminism.
