A complete lesson covering section 4.6.1.5 of the AQA GCSE Biology specification- DNA structure.
The lesson starts with a retrieval starter followed by a quick reminder of DNA and a quick check activity. There are then some notes and a video (link provided to You Tube) on DNA structure followed by some knowledge questions and an exam questions looking at the DNA molecule.
The lesson then looks at protein synthesis, the genetic code and mutations again followed by review questions.
The lesson ends with two more exam questions
