Based on AQA Language Paper 1: Explorations in Creative Reading and Writing - this example paper uses an extract from ‘A Christmas Carol’. Used to help identify a language grade while teaching Literature. The extract is from the end of Stave Two, therefore a good assessment point in the middle of the autumn term. Used with Year 10, but could make good revision material for Year 11 as well.
