Arctic Explorers role play pack- Outdoor play, Winter

ARCTIC EXPLORERS

This role play works particularly well in the outside are but can be used indoors too to create a colourful and stimulating role play area.

Resources on the pack include:

Coloured pictures of Arctic animals for the children to find such as a Killer Whale, Polar Bear, Seal, Reindeer etc

Black and white pictures of the animals so the children can colour or collage them

Badges for the Arctic explorers to wear

Identity cards for the explorers to fill in their details

Word and picture cards showing some of the kit the explorers will need

Check lists and forms to fill in to check the kit

Check lists, forms, sketch books etc for the explorers to fill in when they have found some Arctic animals

A large A-Z alphabet with each letter in the form of ice

Number up to 50 on snowflakes- great to use if you are creating the role play area indoors
