Year 7 Assembly (Friendship) - FAITH SCHOOL
This was designed as an Assembly for a Christian school but could easily be adapted for a non-faith school.
Focus:
- students reflect on the theme of Friendship - I usually deliver this quite close to the beginning of Year 7 when friendships can falter.
- students look at a variety of images and asked to consider them alongside the music. I suggest “You’ve got a friend in me”.
- students consider ‘what makes a good friend’
- (FAITH school: there is a Gospel reflection and prayer)
