Be Internet Legends: complete curriculum

Welcome to the Be Internet Legends curriculum, which was developed in partnership between Google and Parent Zone.

Be Internet Legends is a multifaceted programme for schools, designed to help teach children aged 7 to 11 the skills they need to be safer and more confident online.

The curriculum is built around five core pillars.

• Sharp – Think Before You Share
• Alert – Check it’s For Real
• Secure – Protect Your Stuff
• Kind – Respect Each Other
• Brave – When in Doubt, Discuss

Together, these pillars build the knowledge, skills and behaviours to help children stay safer online. They also support media literacy learning, to better understand and assess online spaces and content, and develop more positive online relationships.
