Place a variety of ships on the grid and either you tell them a bearing and distance (with some scale) to sink their fleet. could be pair game or reading out where the missiles go, Can be made harder/easier with different scales.

I am using this with my year 5 class as part of calculating angles in a whole turn/ circle. I have obviously adapted it. But a great starting point.
