Behaviour Support: Getting to Know the Child

The following two page document can be used to help a child open up and assert themselves about things that they like verses things that they don’t like.

The document can also be utilized for behaviour assessment for teachers to sit down with parents and ask them these key questions about what the child likes/looks like etc in certain situations, which can help underpin behavioural recommendations.

This document has been utilized numerous times with parents with children with special needs, autism, intellectual disability and learning difficulties.
