My full unit of work for Part 2 and 3 of Trevor Noah’s book: Born a Crime (Part 1 uploaded previously). I did this unit with my mixed Stage 8/9 class but it can easily be adapted for older learners. Again, there are activities for each chapter but less explanation as some of the activities require them to use skills already covered in the Part 1 Powerpoint.
This unit includes an assessment comprehension task and a final, discursive essay task with 3 essays to choose from. I did not include notes on Discursive essay writing but there are lots of great resources on this already on TES.
