British Science Week 2021

This resource introduces the ‘Innovating for the future’ topic for the 2021 British Science week.

My intro presentation act like an assembly to give the students the ‘buzz’ to engage the students. In this presentation I have included STEM attributes and some STEM careers, this leads into the ideas of ‘Innovations’.

I have also included the ‘Challenge’ Presentation which incorporates some of the ideas from the BSW21 pack. (for me this will be the start of lesson 2…)

We will be running Science week completly remotely this year as most of our students will be at home. So with this in mind I have chosen activities that are accessible at home.

I have developed these resources with the plan to launch them to our KS3 students. My primary plan was to stimulate some ‘innovations’ and to get the students to think about developing an amazing idea that they may have (worksheet included- probably best on A3).
