A series of 4 documents which give detailed advice to learners on the purpose and intention of each of the questions they will encounter in the Unit 4 externally Assessed Exam.
Each Question 1, Question 2, Question 3 and Question 4 guidance page include:
- Common Question Wording and help on what the question response " could be looking for".
- Where applicable (Question 1 for example) key words that learners should be including within their answer.
- Suggested structures to help learners think about possible was to attempt the question in a relevant, organised and purposeful manner.
- Example of a high grade response from the examiners report.
- Summary of why the example scored well.
- Marking Bands
I would recommend that you use these resources to support learners in mocks. They would also be useful for new delivery of the Unit 4 (2016) Enquiries in to Research- but could also provide useful guidance for other similar research units.
