Introduction to Cell Division Modeling Activity

A quick hands-on introduction to cell division. In this mitosis modeling activity, students will discover that cells need to grow and make copies of their genetic material BEFORE dividing. I use this as an activity to bridge the units on cells and the human body in middle school. It can also be used as an activity before teaching mitosis in high school.
