Characterisation Exploration - Drama Skills

This is an introduction into how to create interesting and varied characters in Drama. This SOW can last a whole half term and the booklet that goes with it has really helped H/W. The booklet follows all of the lessons and helps to include more written elements into classwork. We explore the use of voice, body and face as well as getting the learners to reflect on their own skills and confidence they are gaining. All homework is added after every session. We explore the most interesting characters from The BFG, The Twits, Matilda, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and Revolting Rhymes. Could easily be used for KS2 and English.
