Covers N.C objectives Solve addition and subtraction multi-step problems in contexts, deciding which operations and methods to use and why.Recognize that shapes with the same areas can have different perimeters and vice versa, recognize when it is possible to use formulae for area and volume of shapes.Solve problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, calculate and interpret the mean as an average.
Every activity is differentiated 3 ways to provide support and extra challenge. There is a recording sheet for each activity and all work is easy to edit, if needed. There are answers provided for activity 1 and 2, whereas activity 3 has multiple open ended answers. Each activity also has 3 ‘Greater depth’ challenges to encourage deeper learning.
