Christmas Quiz - ' Quizmas!'

Welcome to Quizmas!

Quizmas is a fun, Jeopardy-style game show designed to make the end of term that little bit easier. It was made with KS3, KS4 and KS5 in mind, but Year 5 and 6 should also be able to access the questions. It takes between 45 minutes and an hour depending on the variables of your groups.

The class will need to be in small teams. As this is a jeopardy style game show, success doesn’t just come from knowing the answer. Students can still win points, for answers they dont know, by nominating other teams in the hope they get the question wrong. This however is a risk, as they can also give other teams a bit of a boost.

Quizmas has 6 categories for your class to pick from:

Christmas Past - questions about the history of Christmas
Christmas Present - questions about today’s Christmas
Father Christmas - questions about Santa
Christmas Dinner - questions about food traditions
Christmas Tree - questions about decorations
Christmas Carols - questions about Christmas songs.

The questions are all general knowledge. Each question has been allocated a points value. The higher the points, the harder the question. There are also some double points questions tucked away to add a little spice and raise the stakes.
