This science themed Christmas wall decoration is a fun and engaging whole class activity that will brighten any classroom wall this festive season.
Students get to colour individual blocks and then work together to assemble the blocks into an eye catching large festive wall poster which has a science theme.
The final poster, once assemble measures 34 x 34 inches (86 x 86 cm). The poster has 36 blocks which all have a grid reference to make assembly easy. For easy assembly, the grid has been provided on the teacher page that corresponds to each student page. Ensure students write the grid reference on the back of their cut out block.
If there are more blocks than students then I am sure some students will be keen to colour more than one. Some blocks has limited colouring due to the design in the poster being central. There is a list of blocks provided that shows which blocks these are and could be given to quick workers who finish early.
