Climate Change, Democracy, and British Values.
This engaging, hour-long PSHE lesson is designed for UKS2 students. Learners will explore the impact of climate change, how citizens can influence government decisions, and the role of democracy in addressing global issues. The lesson includes an analysis of Greta Thunberg’s powerful speech, followed by activities where students will create and perform their own speeches on climate action. The lesson also covers key British values such as respect, tolerance, and the right to peaceful protest.
