A useful revision task that students can do in a copy of their play script from now until the exam (some extra room needed) to get down the following:
-Set ideas and concept
-Costume and make up
-Sound and Lighting
- Voice and movement
I completed my own version for my year 13s and they have gone away and used this for their own scene to include their own ideas. They have found this really useful and has aided them to focus on the skills they will need to use in their examination.
I find this helps the higher ability see the level of depth expected (and I get them to add more on Laura Wade’s intentions, audience impact etc) and lower ability - to give them some ideas to inspire them (especially with the technical responses).
